MRI Probes

Overview

Three streams of research are focused on CEST/PARACEST phenomena, superparamagnetic iron oxide particles and gadolinium, and hyperpolarized carbon-13 contrast agents to exploit the understanding of the physics of MRI to amplify the sensitivity of cancer detection in prostate cancer, while employing sophisticated chemistry to derive high specificity for lesion characterization.
