To determine eligibility for funding, OICR screens all ROIs to the PMRF. Applicants must submit an online ROI by 5 p.m. on November 1, 2010; only those applicants whose projects meet the OICR’s mandate are eligible to submit an FA. If there is any uncertainty about a project, the PI is encouraged to discuss it with the Director, Grants and Awards through an email submission to: renu [dot] minhasatoicr [dot] on [dot] ca.

OICR accepts Registrations of Intent (ROI) and Full Applications (FA) through a web-enabled electronic grants management system, CaAwardNet. The online system has been implemented to enhance the management, review and approval of submissions to OICR.

The CaAwardNet Portfolio workspace allows updates to the applicant profile, access to e-signed consent forms, and direct access to the website for the Canadian Common CV (CCCV).

OICR requires all Applicants to complete the CCV as part of full applications. It is strongly encouraged that all applicants start work on their CCV early. OICR will NOT allow an extension to any applicant.

CaAwardNet System Requirements

The supported operating systems include: Windows 95, 98 NT, 2000, XP, 2003, 7. Mac OS is not recommended.
The supported browsers are IE v6.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox v1.5 or higher.

Important: Please ensure that your pop-up blocker is disabled. If you are using Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu, click Pop-up Blocker and turn off the pop-up blocker. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, go to the Tools menu, click Options, select Content at the top and uncheck the pop-up option. Note that you must close your browser and re-open it before the change will take effect.
