Overview

Vision and mission

Large and complex datasets being generated by OICR’s genomic, imaging and other cancer research programs require new computational and statistical research methods. The Informatics and Bio-computing Program develops new algorithms, software, databases, visualization tools and other necessary components to interpret these datasets. OICR shares its resources with the Ontario cancer research community in its goal to accelerate cancer research and bring treatments to the clinic faster. The Program closely collaborates with OICR’s Genome Technologies and Drug Discovery Technology Programs.
