Vincent Ferretti

Principal Investigator and Senior Scientist, Associate Director, Bioinformatics Software Development

Research Description

Dr. Vincent Ferretti provides innovative data solutions for genomics researchers, extracting meaningful information out of the massive amounts of data they produce. As part of OICR's Informatics and Bio-computing Platform, led by Dr. Lincoln Stein, Dr. Ferretti develops innovative bioinformatic algorithms, unique software and databases, and provides integration and analysis of the information for genomics researchers.Dr. Ferretti also leads, in collaboration with the international consortium Public Population Project in Genomics (P3G), a bioinformatics program for open source biobanking, supporting the Ontario Chronic Disease Cohort and other relevant Canadian initiatives co-sponsored by the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC).
