Dr. Tom Hudson

President and Scientific Director, OICR

As President and Scientific Director of the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR), Dr. Tom Hudson is responsible for bringing together Ontario’s cancer researchers to build a global centre of excellence. Dr. Hudson has developed a Strategic Plan that will see OICR appoint more than 50 principal investigators, who will co-ordinate with researchers at academic centres throughout Ontario to improve the prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. As a researcher, Dr. Hudson will continue his work on cancer genomics.
