The Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Cancer Genomics and Immunity Fellowship Program
New trainee funding opportunity
The Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Foundation, in collaboration with OICR and the Hebrew University’s Institute for Medical Research Israel-Canada (HU-IMRIC), are offering fellowships to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows under the newly established The Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Cancer Genomics and Immunity Fellowship Program.
Beginning in May 2017, we will offer two $37,500/yr fellowships annually, each two years in duration, for collaborative research projects that address the interactions between cancer and immune cells. The application process is simple and requires a two-page proposal, name and CV of the principal investigator and nominated trainee. OICR is making its portion of the funding available to support cancer researchers based at any Ontario Institution.
The opportunity is designed to foster collaboration between OICR and HU-IMRIC. For this reason, applications must be joint between an Ontario PI & trainee and an HU-IMRIC PI & trainee. To help potential collaborators identify each other, we have set up an online spreadsheet at https://goo.gl/dn5VfD.
