
What is the Ontario Joint Genomics Program?
The Ontario Joint Genomics Program (OJGP) is a planned community of like-minded genome centres serving research and clinical needs across Ontario using centralized services to share capacity and knowledge to deliver standardized, high-quality, accredited assays. Hosted by the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, OJGP will comprise a central office that provides common services, facilitates governance and a framework for collaborating members to benefit in areas of:
- Cost reduction and recovery
- Quality and accreditation
- Customer service and communications
- Data interpretation and reporting
- Standards and reproducibility
